    In the central part, the personified symbol of Switzerland – Helvetia – is depicted. With one hand she leans on a shield, with the other she holds a spear. Around the image are twenty-two five-pointed stars. Below, along the rim, the inscription 'HELVETIA', to the left of the inscription the mark of the Swiss medallist Antoine Bovy - 'A.BOVY', to the right 'INC!' - meaning engraver. Around the edge of the coin are decorative raised dots.
