    In the central part is the State Emblem of Russia - a double-headed eagle with outstretched wings. Its heads are crowned with two crowns, with a third, larger crown above them. In the eagle's right talon is a scepter, in the left an orb. Around the eagle is the inscription: «МАНЕТА ДОБРАѦ ЦЕНА ПОЛТIНА ҂АѰВ (1702)». Along the edge of the coin is a twisted dotted border.

    In the central part is the right-facing profile of Emperor Peter I, crowned with a laurel wreath. Around the portrait is a circular inscription: «ЦРЬ ПЕТРЪ АЛЕξIЕВИЧЪ ВСЕѦ РОСIИ ПОВЕЛИТЕЛЬ». Along the edge of the coin is a twisted dotted border.
