Reverse The central part features the monogram of Catherine II. Above the monogram is the Imperial crown. On either side of the monogram are the digits of the coin's year of issue: '17' on the left and '65' on the right (1765). Near the left edge of the reverse is a laurel branch, and near the right edge is an oak branch. The bases of the branches are intertwined with a ribbon, the knot of which forms a bow. The border is decorated with raised dots.
Obverse The central part of the obverse features St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is on the right). Below the horse are the letters 'E' and 'M'. Along the lower edge is a curved banner with the denomination of the coin: ПОЛꙊШКА. The border is decorated with dots.
