    In the central part is a double-headed eagle with outstretched wings; the eagle's heads are in a halo, above them a crown; on its chest is the crowned coat of arms of Austria. Along the arc of the coin's edge is a Latin inscription on the right and left: 'ARCH∙AUST∙DUX∙BU∙CO∙TYR∙1754' (Archduchess of Austria, Duchess of Burgundy, Countess of Tyrol 1754). At the end of the legend is a mark in the shape of the Latin letter 'X'. Below, the numeral 3 is framed by the eagle's tail feathers. The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.

    In the center is the right-facing profile of Archduchess of Austria Maria Theresa Walburga Amalia Christina. Along the arc of the coin's edge is a Latin text: on the left and right 'M∙THERES∙D∙G∙R∙I∙G∙HU∙BO∙REG∙' (Maria Theresa, by the Grace of God, Roman Empress, Queen of Germany, Hungary and Bohemia). The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.
