BRITT: OMN: REX F.D. IND: IMP:', which translates to 'GEORGE V BY THE GRACE OF GOD KING OF ALL THE BRITONS, DEFENDER OF THE FAITH, EMPEROR OF INDIA'. Below the portrait is a dot. The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.
