    In the central part, the inscription in two lines: twenty cents in Spanish '20 CENTAVOS'. Above, along the rim, are the mintmark of Zacatecas, the engraver Manuel Merino, and the metal fineness - 'Zs M. 902,7'. Along the lower edge arc are branches of oak and laurel, tied with a ribbon forming a bow. The edge is decorated with decorative denticles.
  • Obverse
    In the central part is the coat of arms of the Mexican Republic: an eagle perched on a cactus, holding a snake in its beak. To the left, above, and to the right along the rim is the name of the state, the Mexican Republic, in Spanish 'REPUBLICA MEXICANA'. Below is the year of minting '1905'. The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.
