    The central part features a medallion with a bust of Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, surrounded by medallions with busts of her seven children. Above her portrait is an image of the Heir Tsesarevich Alexander Nikolaevich; to the right of him (viewed from top to bottom) are Grand Duchess Alexandra Nikolaevna, then Grand Dukes Konstantin and Mikhail Nikolaevich. On the left are Grand Duchesses Maria Nikolaevna and Olga Nikolaevna with Grand Duke Nikolai Nikolaevich. The rim features a linear border with a Greek bead pattern.

    The central part depicts a bust of Emperor Nicholas I facing right. In the truncation of the neck are the initials of the medallist Pavel Utkin: 'Р. П. УТКИНЪ.' (engraved by Pavel Utkin). To the left of the bust is the text: '1 ½ РУБЛЯ'; to the right: '10 ZŁOT• 1835.'. The rim features a linear border with a Greek bead pattern.
