Reverse
In the central part is a double-headed eagle with spread wings; the eagle's heads are in a halo, above them a crown; on its chest an oval containing the numeral 3. Along the edge of the coin is a Latin inscription to the right and left: 'ARCH∙AUST∙DUX BU∙CO∙TYR∙1777∙' (Archduchess of Austria, Duchess of Burgundy, Countess of Tyrol 1777). At the end of the legend is a mark in the shape of the Latin letter 'X'. Under the eagle's claws are Latin letters: left 'C∙', right 'A∙'. The coin's edge has decorative raised denticles.
Obverse
In the center is the right-facing profile of Archduchess of Austria Maria Theresa Walburga Amalia Christina. Along the edge of the coin is a Latin text: to the right and left 'M∙THERES∙D∙G∙R∙I∙HU∙BO∙REG∙' (Maria Theresa, by the Grace of God, Roman Empress, Queen of Hungary and Bohemia). The coin's edge has decorative raised denticles.
