    In the central part is the lesser coat of arms of the country: a lion on a heraldic shield crowned with the Dutch crown. Below the shield is the year of issue framed by dots '∙1944∙', to its right the letter 'D' - the mint mark of the Denver Mint, to its left - a palm tree image. Along the upper edge of the coin from left to right runs the text 'CURRENCY OF CURAÇAO' in Dutch - 'MUNT VAN CURACAO'. Along the rim are decorative elements in the form of dots.

    In the central part is the left-facing profile of Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands. Around the circumference is the inscription 'WILHELMINA QUEEN OF THE NETHERLANDS' in Dutch 'WILHELMINA KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN'. The edge of the coin features decorative raised dots.
