Obverse
In the central part is depicted the personified symbol of Switzerland – Helvetia. With one hand she leans on a shield, with the other – she holds a spear. Around the image are twenty-two five-pointed stars. Below, along the rim, the inscription «HELVETIA», to the left of the inscription the mark of the Swiss medalist Antoine Bovy - «A.BOVY», to the right «INC» - meaning engraver. The edge of the coin features decorative raised dots.
