    In the central part, an inscription in three lines: 3 RUBLES ON SILVER. Below the inscription is a decorative divider in the form of two oppositely directed ornamental lines and a small circle between them, in the center of which is a raised dot. Below the divider is the year of mintage 1830. Below the year is the abbreviation S.P.B. (Saint Petersburg Mint). The edge of the coin is separated from the center by a circle with inward-pointing teeth. At the upper edge of the coin is a four-leaf ornament, visually indicating the beginning of the line: 2 ZOL• 41 DOL• OF PURE URAL PLATINUM. The rim is decorated with raised teeth pointing towards the center.
  • Obverse
    The center of the obverse is occupied by a double-headed eagle - the coat of arms of the Russian Empire. Both heads of the eagle bear crowns, and a third, larger crown is between them. On the eagle's breast is the coat of arms of Moscow - a shield depicting St. George the Victorious on horseback, slaying a serpent with a long spear (the serpent's head is to the right). Around the shield is the chain of the Order of St. Andrew the First-Called. The coats of arms on the wings: Left wing: Polish, Taurida, Finnish. Right wing: Kazan, Astrakhan, Siberian. In the right talon is a scepter, and in the left an orb. The rim is decorated with teeth pointing towards the center.
