    In the central part is a double-headed eagle with outstretched wings; the eagle's heads are in a halo, above them a crown; in the right talon is a sword, in the left a scepter; on its breast is a crowned heraldic shield depicting the coats of arms of Lorraine and Tuscany, framed by a chain. Below the shield is the highest award of the empire. Along the edge of the coin are Latin inscriptions in an arc: to the right and left 'SPES MEA TUDOMINE' (Thou, Lord, art my hope). To the left of the eagle's talon is the Latin letter 'C', to the right 'A'. Below is the mint year '1747', divided by the tail feathers into two parts: '17' on the left, '47' on the right. The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.

    In the center is the right-facing profile of Holy Roman Emperor Francis I Stephen, Duke of Lorraine, wearing a laurel wreath. Along the edge of the coin is a Latin text in an arc: to the left and right 'FRANC∙D:G∙R∙I∙S A∙GER∙HIER∙REX∙' (Francis, by the Grace of God, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, King of Germany, Jerusalem). The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.
