    Around the edge of the coin — decorative raised dots. Along the rim, Latin inscriptions: ':GEORGIVS V D.G. BRITT:', 'OMN: REX F.D. IND: IMP:', translated as 'George V, by the Grace of God, King of all the Britains, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India'. In the central part, a left-facing profile portrait of the King. The letters 'PM' below the neck truncation — the engraver's mark for Percy Metcalfe.
