    In the central part is a double-headed eagle with outstretched wings; the eagle's heads are in a halo, with a crown above them. In its right talon, the eagle holds a sword, and in its left, a scepter. On its chest is a crowned heraldic shield depicting the coats of arms of Austria and Lorraine, framed by a chain. Along the edge of the coin is a Latin inscription on the right and left: 'ARCH∙A∙D∙BVRG∙LOTH∙M∙D∙H∙1792∙' (Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, Lorraine, Grand Duke of Tuscany 1792). The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.

    In the center is the right-facing profile of Franz II, Emperor of the Austrian Empire, King of Hungary and Bohemia, wearing a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon. Along the edge of the coin runs a Latin text: on the left, top, and right 'FRANC∙II∙D∙G∙R∙IMP∙S∙A∙GE∙HV∙BO∙REX∙' (Franz II, by the Grace of God, Roman Emperor, King of Germany, Hungary and Bohemia). Below is the Latin letter 'A' - the mint mark of Vienna. The coin's edge features decorative raised denticles.
