    In the central part is a double-headed eagle with outstretched wings; the eagle's heads are haloed, with a crown above them. In its right talon, the eagle holds a sword and scepter; in its left, an orb. On its chest is a crowned heraldic shield bearing the coat of arms of the Holy Roman Empire, encircled by a chain. Below, the number 20 is within a cartouche. The cartouche is flanked on the right by a palm branch and on the left by a laurel branch. Along the edge of the coin is a Latin inscription on the right and left: 'GER∙HVN∙BOH∙REX∙A∙A∙D∙LOTH∙VEN∙SAL∙1806∙' (King of Germany, Hungary, Bohemia, Archduke of Austria, Duke of Lorraine, Venice, Salzburg 1806). The coin's rim features decorative raised denticles.

    Centered within a circle formed by semicircular laurel branches is the right-facing profile of Franz II, Emperor of the Austrian Empire, King of Hungary and Bohemia, wearing a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon. The branches are tied at the bottom with a ribbon. Along the edge of the coin runs a Latin inscription on the right and left: 'FRANC∙II∙D∙G∙ROM∙ET HAER∙AVST∙IMP∙' (Franz II, by the Grace of God, Roman Emperor and Hereditary Emperor of Austria). Below the portrait is the Latin letter 'A' - the mint mark of the Vienna Mint. The coin's rim features decorative raised denticles.
