At the top - a large numeral "1", at the bottom - an image of the Crown of Saint Wenceslas. Along the arc of the left and right edge of the coin is an inscription in Czech: "KORUNA ČESKÁ", which translates as: "CZECH CROWN". Below the image - the letters: "JTS", denoting the initials of the artist, Jarmila Truhlíková-Spěváková.
Obverse
Along the arc of the coin's edge from left to right runs text in Czech: "ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA" - "CZECH REPUBLIC", below - the year of minting: "2008". In the central part is an image of the emblem of the Czech Republic - a double-tailed lion in profile. Below - the letter: "b" - the mint mark of the Jablonec nad Nisou Mint.
