    The central part of the coin depicts the trident – the Small State Emblem of Ukraine, flanked by oak leaves with two ears of wheat. Three awns extend vertically upwards from each ear. At the top of the coin is the inscription "UKRAINA", and below the emblem is the coin's minting year – "2002".
