    In the central part, a two-line inscription "2 Fr 1947", denoting "2 Francs 1947". The numbers "1947" indicate the year of issue. Along the edge of the coin, on the left, right, and bottom, is a depiction of a wreath. On the left, it is made of oak leaves; on the right, it features stylized flowers. At the bottom, the wreath is tied with a decorative bow. Below it is the letter "B" - the mint mark. The edge of the coin features decorative elements in the form of denticles.

    In the central part, a stylized depiction of the statue of Helvetia facing left, wearing a wreath on her head and a Roman toga, a literary personification. In the statue's right hand is a spear pointing upward. In her left hand is a depiction of a shield, its lower part resting on a pedestal. The pedestal is depicted as a relief line. Below it is the Latin inscription "HELVETIA". On the shield, on a hatched field, is a broad cross, the coat of arms and symbol of Switzerland. Along the rim, on the left and right, are images of 22 five-pointed stars, 11 stars on each side. Below the stars on the left is the inscription "A. Bovy", denoting the initials of the artist Antoine Bovy; on the right - "INC.". The edge of the coin features decorative raised denticles.
